Green tea Boseong 보성

Green tea stands in the city of Poseong in the southern province of Jula are among the most important tourist destinations. It is also one of the most famous regions producing green tea in South Korea, Boseong City is the capital of green tea because it provides good climatic conditions for the cultivation of green tea, of which about half of green tea production comes from Korea.  The place is characterized by the smell of pure green tea that smells from everywhere along the rows of long cedar trees,

Opened in 1957 to be the only tourist tea farm in Korea featuring scenic views , it became known to everyone for the first time through the Korean Telecommunications Company and later gained popularity as a site for filming ads and films,

In the 1980s, when the demand for green tea began to decline, the government and the local media made great efforts to make the green tea city of Poseong to stimulate the green tea industry and to support and develop green tea companies and to attract tourists from all over the world.
