Seongsan
The Seongsan Summit is one of the most popular places for visitors from around the world to see the sunrise.
The height of this summit is about 182 m above sea level, with a steep slope. At the top of the Seongsan summit, the carved rocks can be found in a shape resembling a crown, and between them is the Great Meadow.
The Seongsan summit has risen from below sea level in a volcanic eruption 100,000 years ago. Located on the eastern tip of Jeju Island, there is a large hole at the top of the Seongsan summit. The crater extends to about 600 m in diameter and reaches a height of about 90 m. There are sharp rocks surrounding the pit, which look like a giant crown.
