During the festival, hundreds of colored lamps each have a different form and story along the course-Chun River in Seoul and even the bridge bridge of 1.2 km.
It was used at the festival of lamps to transfer Korea's history from the time of joseon to modern times and some traditional korean culture with special forms attracting attention and special stories for children.
It shows a wide range of lamps that speak of different themes and ages, and also the cartoon characters that children love, of and see Paulie, along with the design of a tree called the "wishing tree" to create special memories.
This year the festival embodies the winter Olympic games that will be held in Pyongyang in February 2018

The Festival was launched for the first time in 2009 by the tourism organization in Seoul, where the festival was originally held to promote tourism and was scheduled for about a week and then around the festival after another week after its success.
