COEX Mall

The COEX Mall offers a mix of comfortable shopping and attractions for both tourists and foreign shoppers. It is always on the lookout for conferences and exhibitions and has one of the largest convention centers and exhibition halls in Asia and is located at Samsung-Dong in Gangnam's main business district.

There are about 250 shops and 800 restaurants, plus a basin of 40,000 sea creatures and a huge tunnel where you can see sharks and other sea creatures swimming above you. The complex has the largest underground shopping mall in Asia, and has 17 movie theaters, bookstores, a playground, shops and boutiques.

COEX Mall is not only a large mall but a unique maze of shops and visitors are advised to go with leisure facilities as it may be difficult to navigate without assistance and visitors are strongly advised to request a map and shopping guide from the Tourism and Information Bureau before going there.
